The Fisherman’s Wisdom: A Lesson in Trading Patience
Once upon a time, there was a young trader named Arjun…
Arjun had just entered the stock market with big dreams. Every morning, full of excitement, he would open his charts and take a trade… every single day. Win or lose, he didn’t stop.

One day, Arjun met his mentor, Krishna. Krishna quietly observed him for a few days. He noticed one thing clearly — Arjun was not waiting… he was rushing.
So one evening, Krishna said, “Arjun, come with me.”
They went for a walk and reached a calm, beautiful lake. The sun was setting, and everything felt peaceful. Near the lake, a fisherman was sitting silently… doing nothing.
Arjun got confused and asked, “Why is he just sitting? Why isn’t he throwing the net?”

Krishna smiled and gently asked, “Arjun… tell me one thing… does a fisherman throw his net every time into the water?”
Arjun thought for a moment and replied, “No… he waits for the right time… when fish are likely to come.”
Krishna nodded. He then looked at Arjun and said, “Exactly.”
“Market is like this lake.
Opportunities are like fish.
And your trades… are like the net.”
“If you keep throwing your net randomly, every minute… you will only get tired… not successful.”

Those words hit Arjun deeply. That day, standing near the lake, Arjun understood something he never realized before — Trading is not about doing more… it’s about doing it right.
From the next day:
- ✅ He stopped taking random trades
- ✅ He waited patiently for proper setups
- ✅ And some days… he didn’t trade at all
At first, it felt uncomfortable. But slowly… his losses reduced… his confidence increased… and his profits became consistent.

💡 Moral of the Story
You don’t need to trade every day. You need to trade only when the opportunity is right.
In trading, patience makes more money than pressure.
